About the Role

As Dispatcher, you will be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, coordinating courier movements, supporting compliance, and ensuring a smooth and effective delivery experience for our customers. You will also be the first point of contact for our courier team and a key liaison between drivers, customers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate couriers in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor fleet activity throughout the day
• Provide day-to-day support to couriers, ensuring compliance with FedEx standards and regulations (e.g. Chain of Responsibility, Fatigue Management)
• Liaise directly with major customers, addressing service needs and issues as they arise
• Support service recovery and customer satisfaction through proactive communication
• Record and maintain accurate data to support reporting and KPIs
• Work collaboratively with the wider team, including Customer Service and Linehaul
• Actively contribute to our safety-first, people-first culture

• On-time courier dispatch and minimal missed pick-ups
• Compliance with COR and Fatigue Management
• Customer satisfaction and prompt enquiry resolution
• Data accuracy and timely reporting
• Team collaboration and support
• Identification of cost-saving or efficiency improvement opportunities

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Sound judgment and decision-making under pressure
• Familiarity with Perth metro routes and freight operations
• Ability to work well within a team environment

• Experience in a courier role is highly regarded
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, dispatch systems)
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling is an advantage
