Real Estate/Property Manager

With other 942 square metres of land across 52 sites with office, depot and warehouse facilities the Real Estate/Property Manager’s main objective is to manage the delivery of first class facilities and property solutions to the Australasian business unit. Within this autonomous role you will be responsible for managing facilities/maintenance management up to running major projects, acquiring and renovating new sites. 

As the Real Estate/Property Manager you will be responsible for: 

  • Manage all facets of Property management and Facilities management across fifty sites
  • Manage the lease portfolio to ensure rent reviews, renewal options including negotiations for new facilities
  • Relationship management with landlords, their representatives and external stakeholders
  • Monitor the spend, identifying and contributing to the cost reduction projects
  • Project manage new developments, depot relocations, refurbishments and fit outs
  • Reconciliation of all property related accounts
The Real Estate/Property Manager will have the following: 
  • Minimum five years’ experience within a similar position
  • Tertiary degree within a relevant field
  • Previous project management experience with a proven ability to manage complex and time sensitive projects
  • Experience managing high volume facilities/maintenance issues
  • The ability to make commercial decisions and work autonomously
